Text Box: Officer Miktarian began his career with the Uniontown Police Department, leaving to serve with the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department and then the Twinsburg Police Department. Spring of 2008 he returned to Uniontown PD part-time. After an 11 year tour of duty, Officer Miktarian made the supreme sacrifice when he was shot and killed while conducting a traffic stop during his shift in Twinsburg. The suspect was apprehended and convicted.
