Tom has served the township for over 18 years, and was recently re-elected this past November for another term. Tom was first elected Trustee in 1986 and continually re-elected until 2002. He was appointed back into office in 2005 to fill the remaining term of Dave Krichbaum who had moved. Presently he is serving as the Chairman. Tom also has been involved in other related organizations such as: VP of the Richland County Township Association, Represented Trustee Association on the Richland County Regional Solid Waste Authority, and the Richland County Health Advisory Committee.

Tom resides at 5201 Hook Road with his wife Sally of 39 years. They have 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.

Trustee Glauer is a Retired High School Teacher at Crestline City Schools. He has has farmed and he and his family have raised and shown Belgian Horses for over 30 years.

Tom received his Degree from Urbana College in 1970.
