Penfield Township Recycling

Penfield has a recycling drop off center next to the Township Hall.  It is open on Wednesdays from 3 PM to 7 PM and on Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM. Plastic, #1 (HDPE) and #2 (PETE) and milk jugs are accepted. Bi-metal cans, aluminum cans, aluminum, glass (except drinking glasses and window glass) vehicle batteries, a 24-hour green & yellow dumpster is provided for magazines, office paper, shopping catalogues, junk mail, and newspapers in loose containers. An all green Allied Waste dumpster is available 24 hours for cardboard. Please flatten boxes. Labels may be left on the cans and all containers should be rinsed out before bringing to the center.

Dumpsters are provided at the township complex in the spring and fall. General trash and scrap metal are separated. Construction debris is not accepted.
