Penfield Township ParksWANT TO HELP? Whether you have a special skill or talent or just ambition and spare time, the Recreation Park could use your help. The Park Board holds work sessions on Sunday afternoon. During these sessions, we work on the improvement and repair projects, such as painting, general maintenance, and new construction. Anyone interested in helping out at the Recreation Park or becoming a Recreation Park Board Member is encouraged to call Jackie Johnson at 440-647-4540 or contact us at djohnson41869@ncwcom.com. Penfield supports two parks. A community park on the South side of St Rt. 18, opposite the Township Hall provides picnic tables, a gazebo, swings, slides, and rocking horses.
A larger, 28 Acre, park is located at 40756 ST RT 18. This partially wooded facility has a picnic pavilion, three regulation baseball diamonds one lighted for night games, basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts, a soccer field, and a playground with monkey bars, swings, teeter totter, slide and merry-go-round.
