UPCOMING TOWNSHIP EVENTS & NOTICES:
DUMPSTER DAY - The last dumpster of the year will be held on Saturday, November 21 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We will be accepting scrap metal and items too large for normal trash pick up (i.e
appliances). We will also be collecting auto and farm batteries, oil, and anti freeze, Please
no tires, household hazardous waste, or construction debris.
KEYSTONE COMMUNITY BAND - Performing Christmas concert, Saturday, December 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Center.
Residents are encouraged to obtain and display Green
house number signs with reflective White letters. These enhance
the safety of all residents and allow emergency responders to
locate houses more quickly. These signs are FREE. Contact either
the SOUTH LORAIN COUNTY AMBULANCE DISTRICT (179 Herrick Ave
Wellington) or WELLINGTON FIRE DISTRICT (202 Kelley St Wellington)
to obtain your house number sign. |
SERVICES IN PENFIELD TOWNSHIP - The Southern Lorain County Ambulance District, Wellington Fire District, and the Lorain County Sheriff serve Penfield Township.
Wellington, Grafton, Litchfield, Lagrange, and Spencer Post Offices serve the Township.
Verizon and Windstream provide phone service. Elyria and North Ridgeville calls are free from the Wellington lines. GLW Broadband, operating as Grafton and Wellington Cable services, provides Cable service. Columbia Gas, Lorain Medina Rural Electric, and Rural Lorain County Water Authority provide utilities.
