Recycling


The Lake Township Recycle Center is open seven days a week, dawn to dusk and is located at 1505 Midway Street next to the Lake Township Service Garage. Stark County Recycling operates the Center and the following materials are accepted:*
 
• Newspapers/Magazines/Junk Mail
• Corrugated Cardboard (please break down cardboard boxes)
• Food Boxes
• Glass Bottles (brown, green and clear)
• #1 and #2 Plastics
• Steel Cans/Aluminum Cans
• Yard Waste (includes brush, grass clippings, leaves, branches, and stumps). No business waste, plastic bags, or treated wood are accepted

*Newspapers, magazines, telephone books, corrugated cardboard and paper food boxes should be tied or bundled. All cans, bottles and jars should be rinsed out and lids removed.
