Welcome to Florence Township
Welcome to the official website of Florence Township, Erie County, Ohio. Florence Township, established in 1817, is one of nine townships located in Erie County, Ohio. To the east is the town of Birmingham and to the west is the town of Florence. Florence Township covers an area of 26.5 square miles with 29.5 miles of roads, and a population of 2,500+. Also located in Florence Township are Schoepfle Arboretum, Girl Scouts' Camp Timberlane, and the Vermilion River.

Board of Trustee meetings are held at 8:00 P.M. on the first Wednesday of the month and at 8:00 A.M on the third Wednesday of the month. All meetings are held in the township hall.
