Department of Commerce - Economic Development Administration - EDA University Center
Through the Rural University Project, the Center for Public Management and Regional
Affairs has been designated as an EDA University Center, by the U.S. Department of
Commerce. As an EDA University Center, CPMRA receives an annual matching grant to
enhance economic development by providing technical assistance, conducting applied
research activities, and disseminating information to local governments.

(PWIC)
Documents relating to the District #10 Public Works Integrating Committee and resources of
the Ohio Public Works Commission and Clean Ohio
program are provided by the Center as administrative liaison.

Small Communities
Environmental Infrastructure Group (SCEIG)
The Small Communities Environmental Infrastructure Group (SCEIG) is an
association of federal and state agencies, local governments and groups, service
organizations, and educational institutions designed to help small communities
in meeting their environmental infrastructure needs. These agencies saw a need
to coordinate efforts to assist small governments with the difficult task of
developing, improving, and maintaining their water and wastewater systems. The
website provides the meeting dates, committee structure, finance and training
materials, and other resources.
Ohio Rural
Development Partnership (ORDP)
The Partnership provides a forum for members of the agriculture industry, health
care industry, educational institutions, economic and community development
organizations, for-profit and non-profit corporations, and social service
agencies to address special needs and opportunities in rural Ohio. The
website provides the Steering Committee roster, strategic action plan, and the
meeting schedule and minutes.
Ohio Township
Association (OTA)
The Center is pleased to house information for the Ohio Township Association. The
Center and the OTA signed a cooperative agreement in 1995 and continues to jointly publish
the three volume Township Sourcebook
Series. The Center is an active participant in the
Ohio Township Association's Winter and Summer Conferences. For more information, please

addition, the Center is the
official secretariat for programming, information
sharing, and other issues of interest for the Ohio Township Administrators Network.
The Center also hosts the official web site for the Coalition
of Large Ohio Urban Townships (CLOUT).
Southwest Ohio
Local Government Wage and Benefit Survey
The Center collects and maintains a database on municipal wages, salaries, and
benefits and prepares reports on various public employee compensation issues in Butler,
Warren, Montgomery, Clark, Greene, Darke, Preble, Shelby, and Miami Counties.

OAMMA Online
(OAMMA)
The Southwest Ohio Chapter of the Ohio Association of Municipal Management Assistants is a
group of professional municipal management assistants that is dedicated to enhancing local
government. The OAMMA database is now online - look for meeting dates and membership
roster.

Ohio Association for Court Administration (OACA)
The Ohio Association for Court Administration is a professional association of court
managers who are committed to excellence. The association was established in 1973 and
currently has over 160 members. OACA consists of members from all Ohio court
jurisdictions, as well as members of court-related agencies. The Center formerly hosted the OACA website.
