The
State Association was formed in 1928 for the preservation and promotion
of township government in Ohio. The educational tools available from the
Ohio Township Association are here to help educate and keep alive pertinent
information on township government and what the townships do for their
communities. The video, “Township Government in Ohio: Our Grassroots
of Democracy” is a valuable resource as township officials
strive to educate their residents and communities concerning the functions
and responsibilities of township government in Ohio. The Educational Packet
includes supplemental materials with the video to assist township officials
willing to go into their local schools and talk to students about township
government. |
The educational
packet contains: |
• The 12 question worksheet can be filled out by the students while they are
viewing the video presentation. |
Though geared
specifically to the education of students, there are many other uses for
the video. It can be distributed to local television stations to accompany
a human interest story that occurred in your township or played during
township open houses, county meetings or other township events. |
The OTA video
can be a valuable resource as township officials strive to educate their
residents and communities concerning the functions and responsibilities
of township government in Ohio. Print out an Educational
Tools Order Form and mail it to the State Association office today
to receive your copy! |
