Technology in Government

Description: This is a workshop about the uses, applications and limitations of electronic technology, especially computers, in local government. The workshop will focus upon five themes relating to computers and technology in local government - selecting hardware and software, common applications and practices currently in use among many local governments, new applications of government on-line, emerging uses, and policies relating to the use of government computers.
