About the Commission

The Ohio Commission on Local Government Reform and Collaboration shall develop recommendations on ways to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of local government operations, to achieve cost savings for taxpayers, and to facilitate economic development in this state.

As required by law, the Commission on Local Government Reform and Collaboration has developed recommendations on ways to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of local government operations to achieve cost savings to taxpayers and to facilitate economic development.  The report, adopted at the August 27th meeting of the Commission, may be viewed by clicking here
 
Although the Commission ceases to exist after September 1st, all research reports, testimony from hearings and minutes of Commission meetings may be found on this site, which will remain active until April 1, 2011.
